Two Tasmanian men have been charged with child exploitation offences after police seized multiple devices during raids across the state’s north.
The Tasmanian Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Team (JACET) carried out five search warrants last week, examining more than 200 devices and seizing 20 for forensic analysis.
A 24-year-old Newnham man and a 23-year-old from Perth were arrested and charged.
Both are expected to appear in court at a later date.
Two other people remain under investigation following the operation, which targeted locations across northern and north-western Tasmania.

Officers from Tasmania Police and the Australian Federal Police led the coordinated effort as part of ongoing work to combat online child exploitation.
A police spokesperson said the operation highlighted how seriously authorities take such offences.
“Tasmania Police, with the support of its partners, is committed to interrupting these crimes and keeping our children safe,” the spokesperson said.
“If you have seen inappropriate behaviour online that you suspect is child abuse, report it.”
