Tasmanian Supreme Court Judge Gregory Geason is facing a decision next month on charges of assault and emotional abuse.
Geason has denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier in the year.

The initial verdict was scheduled for mid-September but has now been delayed until October.
The matter was heard over seven days in July by Victorian Deputy Chief Magistrate Susan Wakeling.
Wakeling was appointed after Tasmanian Magistrates were deemed unable to hear the case.
Geason has been on leave from his role since the charges were laid.
