Weekend and fill-in 7 Tasmania newsreader Louise Houbaer has announced her second pregnancy.
Delivering her baby news alongside long-standing weather man Peter ‘Murph’ Murphy, Houbaer said she is nearly in her third trimester.

The news comes just over 2 years since Louise and husband Dave welcomed their daughter Matilda, who was born on September 7 2021.
Houbaer has been part of Tasmania’s Nightly News team since 2016 and stepped up to the anchoring role after the departure of Rachel Williams in 2020.
