With Christmas Day now just seven sleeps away, the latest forecasts suggest Tasmanians can look forward to mostly sunny conditions across much of the state.
While the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) is yet to release its first official Christmas Day forecast, expected later today, AccuWeather’s early predictions offer an initial glimpse of what to expect.
Hobart is set for a mostly cloudy Christmas, with temperatures climbing to 22 degrees, an increase from earlier forecasts of 19.
Launceston is tipped to enjoy a sunny day, with temperatures expected to peak at 25 degrees.
In the north-west, conditions are likely to mirror Launceston’s, with plenty of sunshine and a high of 22 degrees.
The West Coast is forecast to be cloudier, with a top of 21 degrees.
Meanwhile, the east coast will bask in sunshine, reaching a pleasant 23 degrees.
The north-east can also expect sunny skies and a top of 24.
