Tesla is set to open their first showroom in Tasmania, Pulse can exclusively reveal!
Tassie’s new home of the electric vehicle manufacturer is set to be located next to Amart on Hobart’s Brooker Highway.
Tesla has been recruiting sales & technical staff in Hobart since late last year, with two roles still remaining open for applications.
A development application for the new showroom was lodged with the Glenorchy City Council in April, and people are invited to make submissions relating to the proposal between now and June 6.
Tesla’s decision to establish its first showroom in Tasmania will come as no surprise to some, considering the state’s 100% renewable energy status.
Upon approval of the development application, it is expected the showroom will open later this year.
