It’s been a wet month across Tassie, and one north-east area has smashed its own record to become the wettest place in Australia! 🌧️☔
Gray in north-east Tasmania recorded 543.6mm last month, 86.2mm more than the previous record of 457.4mm from October last year.

The Bureau of Meteorology are still crunching the official numbers for other parts of the state, but say Tasmania could have just recorded its wettest month on record.
Wet weather is expected to continue this week, with rain, hail, thunder and strong winds forecast for tonight and into tomorrow morning.
