Tasmania’s premier food and drink festival is sporting a fresh new look, with organisers unveiling a vibrant rebrand as the 150-day countdown to the event begins.
Taste of Summer will return to Hobart’s waterfront from December 27 to January 3, promising eight days of culinary celebration showcasing the state’s finest produce.
General Manager Katharine Dean said the refreshed branding reflects the festival’s evolution while honouring its heritage.
“We’ve always been proud of how the Taste brings together Tasmania’s best producers, chefs, winemakers and creatives. This year’s design celebrates that colour, vibrancy and spirit.”

The rebrand comes as the festival marks its fifth year under the Taste of Summer banner.
“We felt it was timely to really reflect the growth of the last few years into a new brand and a new look,” Dean explained.

Festival organisers have issued a final callout for stallholders, musicians and artists, with expressions of interest closing in two weeks.
Food and Drink Curators Jo Cook and Khayla Massie encouraged Tasmania’s culinary talent to apply before the deadline.
“The Taste is a much-loved celebration of all things Tasmanian – from food and drink to the creativity of local artisans,” they said.
The festival will open at noon daily, with the first release of tickets going on sale in late September.

Dean said planning is well underway with strong interest from potential stallholders already received.
“We’ve had a huge amount of interest so far, so it’s reflecting what’s to come,” she said.
