A teenage girl will face a Hobart court today after allegedly stealing more than $2,500 worth of alcohol and cosmetics during a two-week crime spree.
The 17-year-old was arrested this week and charged with 35 offences.
They include 21 breaches of bail, 10 counts of stealing and one count each of destroying property, injuring property, assaulting police and carrying a dangerous article in public.
Police say the offences took place across Hobart, Moonah, Battery Point, Howrah, Sandy Bay, Rosny and Glebe Hill over the past fortnight.
Inspector John Toohey said police were committed to protecting businesses and the wider community from anti-social behaviour.

“Our community deserves to feel safe at home, out in public and in their workplaces,” he said.
Toohey said officers would continue to monitor crime and put offenders before the courts.
“We will continue to target anti-social and criminal behaviour and where appropriate, necessary and authorised by law, we will be charging those who offend and putting them before a magistrate,” he said.
The teenager has been remanded in custody and will appear before the Hobart Youth Justice Court.
