A teenage girl has been charged following an alleged seven-week crime spree across southern Tasmania.
Police say the 14-year-old is facing 12 counts of stealing and one count of assault.

The offences allegedly occurred between January 20 and March 8 across multiple suburbs including Hobart, Sandy Bay, Kingston and Howrah.
More than $1,600 worth of goods were allegedly stolen during that period.
Items taken allegedly included alcohol, sporting goods, food and fragrances.
“We will continue to target anti-social and criminal behaviour to keep our community safe,” police said.
“If you witness illegal or anti-social behaviour, you should contact police on 131 444 or triple-zero (000) in an emergency.”
