Two Hobart teenagers accused of causing significant damage to multiple taxis will be proceeded against by Tasmania Police.
The 15-year-old pair are alleged to have damaged three parked vehicles by smashing their windows in Lutana on Wednesday, April 24.
Footage of the incident shared with Pulse showed multiple young people terrorising, kicking and hurling abuse the drivers.
One of the young people was holding a knife, the drivers said.

A large group of taxi drivers took part in a 12-hour strike on Monday, as well as a silent protest, saying they were concerned about the uptick in ‘racially motivated attacks’ against them.
On Friday, police said the teenagers from the Glenorchy area will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court under the Youth Justice Act.

“There is a small group of recidivist youth offenders who demonstrate a very poor attitude to the community,” Inspector James Semmens said.
“We will continue to target anti-social and criminal behaviour and where appropriate, necessary and authorised by law, we will be charging those who offend and putting them before a Magistrate.”
He said police will work to make public spaces safer for everyone.
“Anyone who witnesses illegal or anti-social behaviour should report it to police on 131 444, or triple-zero (000) in an emergency,” he said.
