Two young people are in police custody following alleged armed robberies in Launceston this afternoon.
Authorities were called to Bathurst Street just before 2:15pm on Wednesday after reports two young people had entered two separate businesses while armed with a knife.

Police allege the pair stole alcohol.
Police say no one was physically injured during either incident.
The youths were arrested shortly after the robberies and are currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
