Tasmanian country music band The Wolfe Brothers have collaborated with The Wiggles on a new song for the children’s band’s upcoming country album.
Tom and Nick Wolfe took to social media to share their excitement about the project, calling it a “great experience” and praising the Wiggles as “the coolest people”.
“Tom just became the coolest dad and Nick the coolest uncle,” they wrote.
“We [are] over the moon to announce we are on the brand new Wiggles Album.”
“The best experience and the best people! Keep your eyes peeled.”
The new song featuring The Wolfe Brothers is set to be called Dorothy Doll.
The Wiggles’ new country album, titled ‘Wiggle Up, Giddy Up!’, features an all-star lineup of country music artists, including Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson, Dasha, Morgan Evans, Troy Cassar-Daley and Slim Dusty.
The album is set for release on 7 March.
“Country music is all about storytelling and connection and combining that with The Wiggles’ fun and imagination felt like the perfect match,” Wiggles co-founder Anthony Field said.
“We can’t wait for families everywhere to hear these songs.”
