Three people have been charged after a stabbing at McDonald’s in New Norfolk led police to uncover illegal weapons.
Two men, aged 33 and 29, were arrested across greater Hobart on Sunday following the early morning incident in the Derwent Valley restaurant’s car park.
A 31-year-old man suffered injuries to his face and upper body around 4:20am, police said.
Police said the wounds were not life-threatening. He remains in the Royal Hobart Hospital.

The two men have been charged with wounding, aggravated assault and multiple firearms offences.
“The two accused men have been detained in police custody,” police said.

“All parties were known to each other and police believe there is no risk to the community.”
Both men are also accused of possessing firearms without proper licences, carrying shortened firearms and possessing stolen firearms.
A 32-year-old woman who was present during the alleged assault has been charged with the same offences.
She was granted bail and is due to appear in court at a later date.
