Tasmania enjoyed a landmark night at the 2025 AFLW Draft with three Devils players selected by mainland clubs.
Priya Bowering led the Tasmanian contingent when Geelong Cats selected the talented Lauderdale product with pick 27.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who represented the Tasmania Devils in the Coates Talent League Girls competition, also claimed Most Valuable Player honours for the Allies and secured selection in the AFLW Under 18 Championships side.
Bowering’s selection was immediately followed by fellow Lauderdale talent Mischa Barwin, who was drafted by Collingwood with pick 28.

Barwin, also 18, has built an impressive resume through her performances for the Tasmania Devils in the Coates Talent League Girls and participation in this year’s National Championships.
Clarence product Mia Anderson rounded out the night for Tasmania, who will head west after being selected by Fremantle Dockers with pick 46.
