A house in Hobart’s northern suburbs has been extensively damaged in a fire that authorities believe was deliberately lit.
Police and fire crews were called to the Tolosa Street property in Glenorchy just before 5am on Friday.

The house was found fully alight upon arrival and is expected to be demolished as a result of the blaze.
It is understood no one has lived in the property for much of the last decade.
Google Maps images taken in July 2022 show the property has previously sustained fire damage.
Investigations into the latest suspected arson incident are ongoing.
