Police are disappointed with two drivers who chose to have too much to drink with dinner and get behind the wheel of a car on Friday night.
Southern Road Policing Services officers said they stopped and tested over 400 drivers during the random operation in Battery Point.

While many drivers had a drink with dinner and registered a legal reading, two had “chosen that extra drink or two” and exceeded the prescribed alcohol limit.
“[They] will be seeking alternate transport for the next three months and paying a hefty fine,” police said.
