Traffic backed up after crash at Brooker Highway intersection

A multi-vehicle crash on the Brooker Highway is causing traffic delays across Hobart this morning.

The intersection of Risdon Road and the highway at New Town is currently blocked.

The collision happened about 10:30am, backing outbound traffic to Park Street and slowing southbound lanes to Derwent Park.

“Motorists are asked to avoid the area or anticipate delays until the scene is cleared,” police said.

“At this stage no serious injuries have been reported.”
