Three Tasmanian men have been charged over an alleged bat attack outside a Burnie service station that left a teenager in hospital.
Police say the incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning at Mood Food in Burnie.
The alleged offenders – aged 18, 19 and 41, all from Somerset – are now facing criminal code assault and property damage charges.
It is alleged the trio attacked the 18-year-old while armed with a bat, also causing damage to his vehicle during the confrontation.

The teenager was taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for his injuries before being discharged.
Officers from the Western Criminal Investigation Branch arrested the three men yesterday.
All three are expected to appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court at a later date.
