Multiple chickens have reportedly been injured after crates containing the birds spilled onto the Tasman Highway in Sorell this morning.
Footage shared with Pulse shows several crates scattered across the roadway and distressed chickens visibly flapping around.

The incident partially blocked traffic on the busy highway, with clean-up crews quickly dispatched to the scene.
Workers from Cleanaway, a State Growth contractor, were captured on video clearing the roadway.
It remains unclear how many chickens were involved in the incident or the total number of injuries sustained by the birds.
Tasmania Police confirmed the road was not blocked following the incident.
