Two people have been arrested following an alleged home invasion in the Huon Valley that police believe was targeted.
The pair allegedly broke into a Cradoc property about 3:35am on Thursday.
Once inside they assaulted a resident and fled with several firearms and a Mitsubishi Triton.
The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police launched a significant response, deploying ground crews and helicopter to search for the suspects.
The stolen vehicle was found on fire in nearby Ranelagh shortly after 6am, prompting police to establish a large cordon around the area.

A man and woman were taken into custody shortly after 10am.
“At this stage police believe the incident was targeted,” police said in a statement.
“Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact South East CIB on 131 444 and quote OR796787.”
