Two people have been charged after police seized nearly half a kilogram of ice during a raid on a home in Tasmania’s north-west.
Officers searched a home in the Burnie area shortly before 10pm on Tuesday.
They allegedly located 475 grams of methylamphetamine during the operation.
A 32-year-old Upper Natone man was arrested and charged with major trafficking along with other minor drug-related offences.
He was held in custody to appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

A 50-year-old Shorewell Park man was also arrested at the scene.
He was charged with possessing a controlled drug and will appear in court at a later date.
Tasmania Police described the operation as a “targeted search”.
“Anyone with information about illicit substances should contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously,” police said.
