Two men have been charged with assault following a disturbance in Howrah on Monday night that left one person with minor injuries.
Police allege the altercation began between individuals known to each other in the carpark near the Howrah Woolworths Supermarket before continuing to a nearby Shell Service Station.
The confrontation resulted in minor damage to the service station building and one person being transported to Royal Hobart Hospital with minor injuries.
A 47-year-old man from Clarendon Vale and another 47-year-old man from Sandy Bay have both been charged with assault in relation to the incident.

Tasmania Police confirmed the investigation remains active
Detectives from the South East Criminal Investigation Branch are continuing to gather evidence and information about the disturbance.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
