Two men accused of firing shots at homes in separate early-morning attacks that left residents shaken but unharmed have been charged.
The men, aged 20 and 28, fronted the Hobart Magistrates Court today after the incidents in the city’s northern suburbs on Saturday morning.
Police allege the pair used a stolen car and a shotgun-style weapon to target homes in Gagebrook and Herdsmans Cove.
According to investigators, they first drove to Briar Crescent in Gagebrook around 2:10am, where they allegedly fired two rounds at a house.
The shots damaged roof guttering and smashed a window, prompting the occupant and neighbours to call police.

The men then allegedly drove to Fisher Drive in Herdsmans Cove and shot at a second home.
The 28-year-old has been charged with two counts of recklessly discharging a firearm, as well as motor vehicle stealing and unlawful possession of property.
The 20-year-old faces one count of recklessly discharging a firearm, along with charges of motor vehicle stealing and unlawful possession.
As part of the investigation, detectives carried out targeted searches at properties in Lutana and Clarendon Vale this week, seizing allegedly stolen items.
