Two people have been charged in relation to hooning offences in Tasmania’s south today.
A 22-year-old man from Granton was charged following an alleged hooning incident on Lamprill Circle at Herdsmans Cove.
His vehicle was seized for three months.
A 15-year-old from Gagebrook was also charged after allegedly riding at speed and without safety gear on Tottenham Road.
Their petrol-powered bike was seized for 28 days.

Tasmania Police Inspector Luke Horne said the behaviour of the two people was “reckless and dangerous”.
“No matter how skilled the driver or rider believes they are, hooning behaviours put lives at risk,” he said.
“Tasmania Police are out on the roads every day enforcing road rules to keep motorists safe.”
He encouraged anyone who sees dangerous driving to report it.
