Two young men armed with a knife have allegedly robbed a Glenorchy business, stealing alcohol before fleeing the scene.
Police received a report about 8:40pm on Monday that the pair had entered the premises near Glenorchy Central on Cooper Street.
One of the youths reportedly produced a knife and threatened staff before both offenders left with a quantity of alcohol.
No staff members were physically injured during the incident.

Police have released descriptions of both suspects to help with their investigation.
The first youth is described as having brown hair, standing about 183cm tall and wearing grey tracksuit pants, black shoes, a white hoodie and a purple cap.

The second offender was wearing a light blue hoodie, large square sunglasses, grey shoes and blue tracksuit pants.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the incident.
“Police are calling for any witnesses, or people with dashcam or CCTV footage in the area near Glenorchy Central, Cooper Street, Glenorchy, about 8:40pm, Monday 23 March, to contact police,” a spokesperson said.
