A woman accused of firing a rifle at police executing a search warrant has denied charges alleging she attempted to murder three officers.
Samantha Ellen Bird, 37, fronted the Hobart Magistrates Court on Monday over the alleged October 26 incident at a Collinsvale property.
Police allege Bird fired a .22 rifle from near the house as an unmarked police car drove through the front gate about 4pm that Sunday.
Police previously said the shot travelled approximately 60 metres down the driveway.
“Investigators currently believe that the residents may not have realised it was police entering their property,” Assistant Commissioner Bodnar said at the time.

“Regardless, it’s reprehensible that officers were placed at such risk while performing their duties.”
He said the officers heard a noise after entering the property and soon realised something had struck their vehicle.
They later found a single bullet hole near the right-hand wheel guard, Bodnar said at the time.
Bird and 38-year-old Derek Michael Crosswell were arrested at the scene and allegedly found in possession of firearms. Two other people present were released without charge.
Bird faces three counts of attempted murder and 11 firearms charges, including recklessly discharging a firearm.

Her lawyer entered not-guilty pleas to all charges on Wednesday and asked for the attempted-murder counts to be sent to the Supreme Court.
Magistrate Robert Webster granted Bird bail to appear in the Supreme Court on February 24.
Crosswell, who appeared via video-link from custody, faces one count of attempted aggravated assault and 11 firearms offences.
Webster remanded him in custody to return on December 8.
