A 20-year-old man from Granton has been charged with murder in relation to a firearms incident that took place yesterday morning.
The man was taken into custody shortly after allegedly killing 26-year-old Nicholas Scott – a convicted criminal who had escaped prison custody while at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The accused killer is set to appear in court later today.
