Over 200 students from Launceston’s St. Patrick’s College have embarked on a demanding 24-hour challenge, all for a good cause.

The Year 12 students joined hands yesterday to push their limits while raising funds for charity.

Now in its 15th year at the school, ‘Lap It Up’ not only tests participants physically but ‘unites them in a shared experience’.

Students are taking part in cycling, swimming and walking across the 24 hour challenge, with funds raised going to local charities and global humanitarian efforts.
