‘200k+ entries’: Dark Mofo celebrates record-breaking festival attendance

Hobart’s Dark Mofo festival has achieved unprecedented success, with remarkable attendance numbers leaving organisers thrilled.

This years Winter Feast recorded an impressive 110,000 entries, while Dark Park attracted 90,000 visitors.

Night Mass saw a turnout of 20,000 attendees across just four nights and the burning of the Ogoh-ogoh gathered a crowd of 15,000 people.

The festival’s final event, the nude solstice swim, is anticipated to draw a significant number of participants to Long Beach this Thursday.

Starting at 7:42am and lasting just 18 minutes to 8am, attendees advised to arrive from 6am.
