A young man from Legana has been arrested following a broad daylight firearms incident in the Beauty Point area yesterday.
Police said a shot was fired from a vehicle containing two men at around 11am on Saturday.

The shot was directed at another vehicle.
The male passenger and the driver of the vehicle also escaped uninjured, police said.
A search warrant was later executed at a Legana address and the 24-year-old was arrested.
He has since been charged with firearms offences and is being held in custody to appear in court.
“Investigations are continuing into the incident,” police said.
