The Bureau of Meteorology has officially issued a “severe heatwave” warning for the state, with a maximum temperature of 36 degrees forecast for Ouse, while the Greater Hobart area is expected to also see temperatures above 30 degrees.

The hot weather comes only weeks after snow fell in parts of Tasmania.
