A diver has died at a beach on the Tasman Peninsula following a tragic weekend incident.
The 38-year-old man from Oyster Cove was pulled from the water at White Beach near Nubeena just before 10am.
Police said despite CPR attempts from bystanders, the man passed away at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
The size and species of the shark are not known
