Police have arrested a 47-year-old Hobart man following a search of a hotel room that resulted in the seizure of a ‘significant quantity of drugs and drug manufacturing equipment’.
According to police, more than 11,000 MDMA pills with a street value of approximately $400,000 were seized during the search.

The man has been charged with several offenses, including trafficking in a controlled substance, manufacturing a controlled drug for sale, and possession of controlled plant products and drug administration equipment.
He is being detained to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
Police are encouraging anyone with information about the distribution of illicit drugs to contact them or report anonymously.
