A 45-year-old man from Oakdowns has died after a tragic accident at the entrance to the Tasmania Golf Course on the Tasman Highway late last night.
Police say the man crashed into a sign at around 11:40pm, with the impact of the collision causing the vehicle to catch fire.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, which Police called “extremely confronting”.
Authorities are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the Mitsubishi van driving near the Tasmania Golf Club at the time of the crash to contact them at 131 444, quoting ESCAD400-27052023.
