Fire investigators determine $600,000 Lindisfarne blaze that claimed home, shed and car accidental

A home on Hobart’s eastern shore has been completely destroyed in an accidental early morning fire.

Emergency services were called to the Lindisfarne property on Kent Street at 2:30am on Tuesday, finding the property engulfed in flames.

The fire resulted in an estimated $600,000 in damages and gutted a shed and a car on the premises.

Investigators from the Tasmania Fire Service have determined the fire was accidental in nature after thorough investigations.

Smoke and large flames were visible across the area until firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze.
