A man allegedly armed with a knife has been arrested after reports he was “acting aggressively” in the Devonport CBD a short time ago.
Tasmania Police said officers were called to Four Ways about 2:35pm on Friday following reports a 47-year-old man was carrying a knife.

“Police quickly responded and took the man safely into custody,” a spokesperson said.
“No one was physically injured during the incident.”
Police said investigations into the incident were ongoing.
