Police have launched an investigation into a suspicious fire that destroyed two large sheds and several vehicles in Launceston this morning.
Emergency services were called to Gaunt Street in Invermay about 2:40am on Tuesday following reports of a blaze.

When firefighters arrived, both sheds were fully engulfed, with multiple vehicles and machinery inside also destroyed.
Nearby properties sustained minor damage, but no injuries were reported.
Police believe the fire was deliberately lit.
Investigators are now appealing for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the fire to come forward.
