A large burn-off on Berrigan Road in Miandetta has blanketed parts of Devonport in ash.
The Tasmania Fire Service confirmed the 60-cubic-metre burn is registered and authorised.

Social media users have reported ash falling across the town, with some expressing concerns about potential health impacts.
“Devonport wide appears to be raining ash…anyone suffering breathing issues living locally should be aware,” one person wrote.
“What a stink i dont have breathing issues but its really bugging me today,” wrote another.
People living immediately near the burn site reportedly received letters about it in advance.
The Tasmania Fire Service are advising people to stay indoors with windows and doors closed if they are affected by smoke from burn-offs.
