A Hobart man says his life has been ‘turned upside down’ after winning over $1.8 million in Saturday’s Lotto.
Tasmania’s newest millionaire, he was one of 11 division one winners nationwide in Saturday’s draw and took home a total prize of $1,818,181.82.

When Lotto officials called him on Monday morning, he said that he had ‘absolutely no idea’ about the win.
“Wow! Wow! I’m in shock. F***! I had no idea – zero idea,” the man said.
“I thought I was having a bad morning because there was a mishap at work but now it’s done a complete 180.”
The man now plans to use the money to pay off his mortgage.
The winning ticket was purchased online.
