A Platypus that was found with a loop of rubbish around its neck in the Hobart Rivulet has died. 😥💙
The Platypus, named Larila by @hobartrivuletplatypus followers, was captured by wildlife staff last week – who found her with two deep cuts on her body caused by a loop of twine.

Larila was transported to Bonorong Wildlife Centre for medical care, where she, after a number of complications, sadly passed away overnight.
