A ‘suspicious bag’ left inside a Hobart GP clinic, triggering a bomb squad response this afternoon, only contained headphones and leads – Police say.
An exclusion zone was setup around the Your Hobart Health clinic and chemist at 71 Bathurst Street around 2:20 PM today when concerns were raised over the unattended bag.

The business was promptly evacuated and Bathurst Street was closed while authorities worked to secure the scene.
Police say the bag will be returned to its owner thanks to identifying material found inside.
Authorities have thanked the community for their patience.
