A truck has rolled off the Bass Highway at Doctor’s Rocks in Tasmania’s north-west, coming to rest on the shared path after a crash with a ute.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene following initial reports of a three-vehicle crash.
Police later confirmed only two vehicles were involved – a ute and a truck and trailer.
“Both drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles,” police said.

The man driving the ute suffered injuries believed to be non life-threatening and was being treated at the scene, according to police.
Images from the crash site show the truck off the road and rolled onto the shared path.

Both lanes of the highway were initially blocked, with police advising motorists to avoid the area or seek an alternate route.
By 4:40pm, one lane had reopened while the scene was being cleared, police said.
“Motorists are advised of traffic delays in the area until the scene is cleared,” police said.
