Running with the goal of raising $10,000 for SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY, Hirst has since “smashed” his target with close to $11,000 donated.

“This is absolutely amazing. I never thought I’d actually get this far,” Hirst said before setting off on Wednesday morning.

“I guess I didn’t know what to expect, and to have so many people support this challenge and come up and run with me, it’s just been absolutely amazing.”

The Double-Everest challenge has currently raised $10,883, which will be used to bolster Stay ChatTY’s services.
