Tasmanians were treated to a stunning aurora display early this morning, with many calling it the ‘best they’ve ever seen’!
Visible to the naked eye, pink and green hues lit up the sky shortly after 5am, with many able to capture photos using just their phones.

The Bureau of Meteorology say another aurora is likely tomorrow morning, with clear conditions expected, particularly in southern Tasmania.
