American born Chandler Powell, husband of conservationist Bindi Irwin, has shared his love for Tasmania after a family trip to the state.
Powell posted footage to his 669,000 Instagram followers showing him exploring the island with his parents, Chris and Shannan Powell from Florida, along with his young daughter Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.
It is not known if Bindi Irwin joined Powell’s family on the trip.
“Prior to our Crocodile Research Trip, spent some time showing my parents around Tasmania,” Powell wrote.
“Such a special time creating memories in an incredible part of the world.”
The family visited beaches, took nature walks and stopped in at zoos to see some of the state’s iconic wildlife, including pademelons, brushtail possums and Tasmanian devils.
Tourism Tasmania responded to the post on Instagram.
“Looks like a wild trip for a family who know a thing or two about the wild,” Tourism Tasmania wrote.
“The Off Season always delivers on cosy and crisp air visits like these.”
