A recovery operation is underway after a boat SUNK in the Derwent River on the weekend.
The boat sank after it ran out of fuel before running into rocks near the shore.
Marine and Safety Tasmania say the boat is currently sitting in around 6 metres of water between Blackmans Bay and Kingston and is not a hazard to navigation.
The owner will attempt to recover the boat in the next week.
Entries close at midnight on Saturday and any style is accepted
