A young Branxholm man has been charged with arson and a range of other offences following a house fire in the small north-east area earlier this week.
The 21-year-old is accused of deliberately setting a property on Albert Street on fire around 9:40pm on Thursday.

Crews from the Tasmania Fire Service were able to contain the blaze, however the house was destroyed.
An estimated $200,000 in damages was caused, with a fire investigation confirming the blaze was deliberately lit.
The man was arrested shortly after and appeared in an out-of-hours court session on Saturday.
