Hobart has been thrown into chaos as broken traffic lights cause widespread disruptions on the roads across the city this evening.

Commuters are facing significant delays on major roads, as the average speed on Davey Street drops to 8 km/h, 3 km/h on Liverpool Street and 6 km/h on the normally 70km/h Tasman Bridge citybound, according to traffic app Waze.
