Staff at the Burnie Library have been left “feeling sad” after arriving to find the building had been vandalised over the long weekend.
More than two dozen windows were damaged since Friday, with new graffiti also drawn along the exterior of the building.

“We turned up to work this morning to discover two of our windows smashed and another 24 damaged with scratches and chips out of them,” the library said.
Anyone who can help “identify the vandals or provide … a timeline” is being asked to contact the Library or Tasmania Police.
