A car that has gone up in flames on Hobart’s Tasman Highway is causing delays for motorists this afternoon.
Motorists heading towards the city are advised to expect delays.

Thick smoke can be seen coming from the vehicle, with firefighters currently extinguishing the fire.
UPDATE 1:30PM: The fire has since been extinguished and traffic has returned to normal.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
